Useful tools, built with care.
Kapatagan is where Jerico Vilog builds things he wishes already existed: WordPress plugins that keep sites safe, tools that save students and staff time, a Filipino-speaking AI robot, and a home for Pinoy gamers. Free to use, simple to set up.
What’s growing
Every project starts as a seed. Here’s where each one is right now.

Anti Comment Spam
WordPress plugin, coming to WordPress.org
Stops spam comments before they reach your moderation queue, and can clean out the ones already waiting. Free, with settings anyone can understand.
Blackboard Credential Retrieval
Web app for students, in use
Students who forgot their Blackboard LMS login enter their student number and email, and get their details sent to them. No waiting in line at the IT office.
Salleh
AI robot, working prototype
A cheerful receptionist robot who talks in Filipino, English, or Taglish. She greets visitors, answers questions, and takes selfies with them.
Pinoy Gaming Network
Gaming community since 2009
News, reviews, and features for Filipino gamers. Where Pinoy gamers unite.
Kapatagan Network
Spam protection service, planned
A shared spam database that learns from real sites, so every Kapatagan plugin gets smarter together.
How we build
Safe before clever
Every plugin is checked for security holes before it ships. Your site shouldn’t be at risk because of a tool meant to protect it.
Words anyone understands
Settings and guides are written for site owners, not just developers. If a label needs a manual, we rewrite the label.
Free, kept alive by coffee
No subscriptions and no locked features. If a tool helps you, a coffee helps us keep building.
Need help, or want to help?
Questions about a plugin, a bug to report, or an idea for what to build next? Send an email. Real person, usually within two days.
